Starting fresh on a new server — what do you play first? A rough guide to get the discussion going:

• Solo leveling: summoners (Warlock, Elemental Summoner, Phantom Summoner) and Necromancer are the classic comfortable solo classes.
• Parties and clans always need: a healer (Bishop, Elven Elder, Shillien Elder), buffers (Prophet, Warcryer, Overlord) and a tank.
• Economy: a Spoiler/Bounty Hunter makes adena and crafting materials from day one — see the spoil guides.
• Low rates: a support class gets you into parties fast; on high rates damage dealers and archers shine.
